Calling all Wood Turners and Wood Workers
You can also contribute by making rods to go through the hanging sleeves on the pennants.
We need rods either 13" or 17" long so they protrude clear of the ends of the sleeves so we can attach the braids. The ends can have a finial/ball end or we are open to your own creativity.
The rods should be approximately 1/2" in diameter (they can be a little larger but no smaller please). Native woods would be prefered but all wood should be sustainably sourced - alternative you can re-use wood from other projects or reclaimed items such as broken broom handles etc.
Please attach a small swing ticket type label with your name and general location on. Please also include your full contact details (email if possible) with the rods for our records, we will not pass this on.
